* Educational opportunities and workshops intended to inform and enhance the community’s response to veterans.
* Monthly Healing Retreats – healing the invisible wounds of war and service. (Camp Wanake and Ursuline Community locations)
* Valor and Honor Courts by providing support to the Veterans in the Court system
* Support of Healing Circles: Ohio
* Periodic returns to Vietnam for healing and reconciliation
* Continuing Education for Palliative and Hospice Care providers through the VA and local hospitals
* Continuing Education for rehabilitation care providers

Warriors Journey Home Ministry Endowment Fund
Our Board of Directors took the initiative to create an endowment fund at Akron Community Foundation as a way to ensure a permanent, predictable stream of funding for our mission. The Warriors Journey Home Ministry Endowment Fund welcomes gifts of all kinds, including cash, bequests, closely held stock, real estate, life insurance and retirement assets.
